El Vergel continues to grow: new Ecological Supermarket in Ciudad Lineal

The family of El Vergel Ecological Supermarkets continues to grow in Madrid Capital with the opening of its third store in the Ciudad Lineal neighbourhood, at Calle Albasanz, 2, half a block from the well-known Calle García Noblejas, 21.

At the forefront of organic food in the capital, El Vergel continues its policy of expansion with the opening of its third organic supermarket, a 300 m2 establishment which will delight lovers of organic and sustainable food. The new García Noblejas supermarket, the largest in the group, offers a wide range of organic food products, both dry (pulses, cereals, nuts, breads, seeds…) and fresh (desserts, yoghurts, hamburgers, seitan, tofu, ready meals…) ), fruits and vegetables (always looking for the proximity of the crops), herbal products (complements and supplements of the first brands), natural cosmetics (creams, masks, gels, dyes, tonics…) and drugstore (detergents, softeners, soaps, feminine hygiene products…).

Visitors will also find a section dedicated to books specializing in nutrition and health, a small section of 100% organic cotton clothing, another of frozen organic food (vegetables, ready meals, ice cream …) and, as in the Lopez de Hoyos Supermarket, people who wish to buy products of animal origin: meat, chicken and organic sausages. A very extensive catalogue in which we pay special attention to products specialised in macrobiotic, vegan, ayurvedic and gluten-free food.

Like the other two supermarkets of the group, the one in Ciudad Lineal adds to the monthly offers for members with a Client Card. Every day of the week a direct discount will be applied to the shopping basket in the different sections of the supermarket, these are the already famous “El Vergel Days”! With this third supermarket, El Vergel has further consolidated its history, extending to more areas of Madrid and, of course, remaining faithful to its philosophy of bringing food based on organic products to a greater number of people.
