Classic evenings every Thursday at El Vergel Restaurant

From November 19th, the “Veladas Clásicas” (Classical Evenings) will start in our restaurant every Thursday, with the help of the violinist Daniel Costea. El Vergel offers you the opportunity to enjoy a delicious organic dinner accompanied by live classical music. Different musicians will pass through the improvised stage that our restaurant becomes every Thursday night to unite gastronomy and music in a very special, harmonious and exciting encounter. You can enjoy all these while relaxing in our finest outdoor lounge setting.

Daniel Costea feels and lives the violin; people who like to walk around the center of Madrid will surely have met him more than once with his band, enveloping the atmosphere with his captivating classical music. Daniel Consort, Costea’s band, is a street group that gives away classical pieces by greats such as Vivaldi, Brahms or Mozart, for which he has had to modify the strings of his violin and thus boycott the noise of the city.

Together with Daniel Consort, the Romanian violinist has another group, Madrid Consort, with which he plays at events and cultural centres. At the El Vergel Restaurant he will offer a selection of his repertoire, to make dinner an exquisite pairing in which the richness of organic and vegetarian cuisine is combined with the classic musical notes that come from Costea’s violin.

Every Thursday a musician will visit us turning El Vergel into an improvised stage* from 8.30pm.
